Foster care in Leicester
The largest city in the East Midlands and the tenth largest in the country, Leicester is a vibrant and diverse place that needs people like you who can commit to providing fantastic care for children.
We are in urgent need of Foster Parents in and around Leicester and the East Midlands to change the lives of vulnerable children in Foster Care. Could you help?
Foster care gives children and young people a safe, stable and secure home to help them realise their full potential.
Anybody can be a foster parent – you just need to be over the age of 21, reasonably fit and healthy and have a spare bedroom in your house.
Could you give support and guidance to the children who need it most?
Young people and children come into care for many reasons and are in need of different types of Foster Placements.
We would be delighted to speak to all kinds of people who think that they can offer foster care. There’s many different types of foster care – to learn more about the different types of Fostering please click here.
The Children’s Family Trust is an independent fostering agency that doesn’t make a profit from foster care.
Unlike some fostering agencies, we exist to help children, not make money.
As an independent fostering charity we pride ourselves on the service we give to all of our Foster Carers and as such, we want to ensure that our Carers are fully trained and well supported every step of the way.
All of our Foster Carers are compensated with highly competitive payment fees and a generous benefits package – to help them to give excellent care to the children they are looking after.
As a Foster Parent in the East Midlands you would be supported by our East Midlands team, who provide out-of-hours help 24 hours a day and ongoing Foster Care Training, as well as regular social events and meetups to help Carers meet up and chat with other CFT Carers in their area.
