Fostering in Northampton

Formerly a major centre of shoe-making, Northampton is in need of Foster Carers to support children and young people in putting their best foot forward.

We are expanding our Fostering services in the East Midlands area and need Foster Carers in the Northampton and neighbouring areas to help us take care of vulnerable children in Foster Care.

Fostering can provide an environment to help children and young people realise their full potential in a safe, stable and secure home.

There is no upper age limit in Fostering however you will need to be at least 21 years old, be reasonably fit and healthy and have a spare bedroom available for a foster child/children.

You will need to be a warm and caring individual, with the patience and understanding required to help care for a child who may not have had the best start in life.

Can you make a positive impact on a child’s life through foster care?

Children and young people come into care for many reasons and are in need of different types of Foster Placements.

We are searching for people who feel they can make a positive impact on a child’s life and are interested in hearing from individuals who feel they can provide one or more types of foster placement. You can read more about the different types of Fostering here.
