The CFT are looking to recruit more Foster Parents in and around the Birmingham area, to help us continue to provide safe, secure and loving homes to children in the Midlands.
In order to be fostering in Birmingham, you do not need to have any previous fostering experience to foster with us, applicants just need to be at least 21 years old, be reasonably fit and healthy and have a spare bedroom available for a foster child/children.
When recruiting Foster Carers, we look for applicants who are warm and loving and want to have a positive impact on a child in care’s life. There are many different types of placement, and the needs of each child will be different.
You can read more about the different types of Foster Placements here.
We would love to hear from people who wish to provide any kind of placement for children in care.
